Expert Lecture

1. Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “CNC Machines and Programming”. By Nagarajan.A ,CEO, SAN3D Technologies, Indore.  In this session, Mr. Nagrajan explained about various CNC applications like laser cutting, plasma cutting ,abrasive water jet machining and EDM etc. He also explained about the today’s trends in manufacturing and market expectations from an engineering graduate. Mr. Nagrajan shared his experience of shop floor control in the session.
2. Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “Design of Thermal System” by Basant Agrawal, Associate Professor, SGSITS, Indore. In this session, Dr. Basant Agrawal explained about basic concept of thermodynamics, thermodynamic laws, classification of vapour cycle and air standard cycles, classification of heat exchangers and design of heat exchangers from an engineering graduate. Dr. Basant Agrawal shared his experience of research.
3. Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “Finite Element Methods”. By Manoj Chouksey, Assistant Professor, SGSITS, Indore. In this session, Dr. Manoj Chouksey explained about basic concept of Finite Element Methods, Dynamic analysis of Internal Combustion Engine, Connecting rod and various parts from an engineering graduate. Dr. Manoj Chouksey shared his experience of research.
4. Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “Interaction between Industries, More practical Approach”. By Rajendra Joshi, Vice President, John Deere India Private Limited, Dewas. In this session, Mr. Rajendra Joshi explained about basic concept of Tractor, classification of Tractors, Operation and Manufacturing of Tractor Parts from an engineering graduate. Mr. Rajendra Joshi shared his working experience.
