MHRD Innovation Cell (MIC) is conducting the “India First Leadership Talk Series”. In the
series, a webinar by Mr. Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman & MD Persistent Systems Pvt.
Ltd. was attended by 86 Students of FCA department (MCA and Integrated MCA students)
along with 11 faculties of the FCA (Faculty of Computer Application) Department. It was a great
opportunity for the Students as well as the Faculty members to listen the brilliant ideas of
entrepreneurship.
Dr. Deshpande started his session by focusing upon qualities like self-discipline learning and
setting a vision mission and goal to succeed. He discussed about being perfect or expert in at
least one technology and be perfect in communicating the idea. He discussed about various
topics like organizing, planning, success mantra’s and entrepreneur skills. He quoted the
example of UBER driver saying that “Every Uber driver is an entrepreneur” because they have
an entrepreneurial mindset and approach.
The session was concluded by answering some questions- A girl student from IIT Kanpur asked
a question to which Mr. Deshpande replied that women are as capable as men in competition. He
quoted the example of Smart India Hackathon which works on creativity of the students.
Lastly he focused on sales being the most important step in the ladder of success; he told about
four stages of life by referring to his life experiences. The session was overall very motivating
and inspiring for all of us.
