Highlights:
MCA 5 th semester students need to submit a working project as part of their 5 th
semester curriculum. An exhibition of these projects was held at Alan Turing Lab.
in FCA department on 17 th November’18. The students showcased their technical
skills and demonstrated the working of their projects to the visitors and experts.
Students had developed these projects using various platforms like Java, .Net,
Linux, Java Script, Android , IOT to name a few.
Some of the projects were exceptionally good and were well appreciated by the
experts and the visitors. One of the project developed by these students was a
‘Cloud’ with all the services like infrastructure, platform and software. Openstack
which is an open source, is used to develop this project. Another project which
surprised the visitors was nearby systems. The application was giving all kinds of
information to the seeker, category and sub-category wise. Most of the projects
were either web based or mobile applications.
The software projects were meeting the security challenges and performance
parameters too. Around 23 projects were demonstrated. Dr. Dinesh Bhati made it
a point to check each of the projects and accordingly gave suggestions to the
students.
