Technical Tour

Technical Tour to Amritsar – Bhakra Nangal Dam – Shimla – Chandigarh was organised for the Final Year Civil Engineering Students in which 41 students and 3 faculties accompanied the Technical Tour between 2nd – 9th Oct 2018. The group proceeded for Golden Temple Darshan, Jalianwala Bagh, Wagha Border, Bhakra Nangal Dam, which is the largest Gravity Dam in India. Lunch was provided by the BBMB authorities in the VVIP Guest House which was once a home for the Ex-Prime Minister of India – Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Post lunch the group visit the glass cabin where Pt Nehru used to have discussions over a cup of coffee and the place witnessed the Signing of Panchsheel Treaty between India and China in April 28, 1954. The group then moved towards Anandpur Sahib Gurudwara for night stay, Camp Stay at Shimla, Music, camp Fire entertainment, trekking, water fall, Rock Garden in Chandigarh.

The Technical Tour ended with lifetime memories for all the students who went for the trip..!!
