Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on “How to become an employable candidate”. By Mr. Amit Pradhan, Founder Director and CEO, Rejuvenate Your Project Management LLP In this session, The main aim of this lecture was to enlighten the students about the strategies through which they can get a good placement. He told that skills like Technical, Communication, Interpersonal and Problem-solving skills of the students should be very good. Not only the skill sets that a student should possess but he also told about the rejection factors in getting placement. He also told how a resume and a CV should be made and also told the importance of “SWOT”. Keeping traditional jobs on one side, he also told the importance of Project Management Jobs where there will great opportunities by 2020. He gave knowledge about many certifications like Six-Sigma, Jira and MS project.
