CSE Department Organizes Workshop on “ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPEMENT”
Four days workshop on “ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPEMENT” was conducted by CSE Department. This workshop was organized by Prof. Sanjay Bansal (HOD) CSE Department and Mr. Deepak Agrawal. The keynote speaker for the workshop was Mr. Akash Chitlangia, famous android developer and architect.
The focus of this workshop is to give the overview of Android and explore its building blocks and Google Map Integration. This workshop gives the chance to students to learn and shape their career with Android Technology with a hands-on experience.
Android is an open source platform for mobile computing. Many vendors and carries offer Android based devices. In this workshop students learned the architecture, API and techniques to create robust, high performance and appealing applications for the Android devices.
In this workshop students worked with Android 2.3(Ginger Bread) up to higher version. Around 75 no. of Students taken the advantages of this workshop.
By the end of the workshop, the Students learned:
- Make Interactive User Interface.
- Employ attractive features/functionality in their Apps.
- Use built-in widgets and components.
- Get knowledge of various sites.
