Hands on Workshop on Android

Highlights:
FCA department organized a 1 week android workshop for MCA and DDMCA students to learn basics of android app development. The aim of the training was to provide working knowledge of “Android”, to enable them to develop projects. In first two days of training we give theoretical knowledge of Java and Android to students.
Training schedule is given as follows:

16-07-18	Introduction on Java, Inheritance, Overriding, Interface.
17-07-18	Installation of Android Studio, android architecture, Core libraries and app framework.
18-07-18	Android Components, Hands on practice on login activity, Intent, Toast message.
19-07-18	Lifecycle of android, service.
20-07-18	Content Provider, Test.

The workshop was enthusiastically attended by students and it proved to be immensely helpful for the students.
