Industrial Visit

Summary of Visit:

 The CSI student chapter at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research  Indore has organised one day visit at Tata International Dewas, to provide actual exposure to  culture and various functions of an Industry. Altogether 40 students and 3 academic staff has availed this opportunity. During the visit the HR of Tata International Ms. Poorva Dixit and Mr. Amit Malviya has effectively demonstrated about each and every process involved in Tata International Dewas facility in their conference room. They have illustrated like what types of functions are there, how they have been completed and where particularly knowledge of IT could be applied. Later students were taken to the floor for a view of live production line where hundreds of workers were performing their usual jobs on the automated machines which was quite exciting and amazing for the students.

This visit was coordinated by Mr. Praveen Bhanodia (Sr.Asst. Professor, IT) and along with Mr. Asif Ali(Asst. Professor IT) and Ms Bharti Bhattad(Asst. Professor IT) it was well executed on 18 March 2016, It is worth mentioning here that both the HR, Tata International,  has praised our students and even students has enjoyed and learned many things thoroughly.

Objective of Industry Visit

The engineering students are quite expected to have an interface to actual industries to know what kind of real world problems are there and how they are being resolved. The students must know the working culture and atmosphere of any industry where ultimately they will be deployed after completing their degree. An Industry visit always an effort in the direction of making these budding engineer in to a true professional.
