**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** As an Aircraft Technician, you will perform line and heavy maintenance, including C & D checks and calendar checks, on Cessna Caravan aircraft. You will work on flight controls, remove and reinstall interior components, perform corrosion control, replace landing gear, conduct minor electrical work, remove and replace engines, and execute minor structural repairs. Most tasks will be completed independently. **Responsibilities** + Perform line and heavy maintenance on Cessna Caravan aircraft. + Work on flight controls and interior components. + Conduct corrosion control and replace landing gear. + Perform minor electrical work and structural repairs. + Remove and replace engines. **Essential Skills** + Possess an FAA A&P License. + Experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly with Turbo Prop and Cessna Caravan. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year+ of experience in aviation maintenance. + Familiarity with line and heavy maintenance on Cessna 208 and Cessna 408. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience and achieve long-term stability in your career. The schedule includes two shifts: 1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd Shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dothan, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
