Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract)

Location: On-site in St. Petersburg, FL 

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The primary focus of this role is to support our team in catching up and cleaning up accounts payable tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site in our St. Petersburg, FL office and have experience with standard accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard accounts payable tasks, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of the check run process.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the accounting team with other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts payable, including matching, batching, and coding.
• Familiarity with accounts payable software; experience with Lawson is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
