Job Description

Our client, a local mid-sized company, has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The accounts payable specialist will report directly to the assistant Controller and will be responsible for completing A/P functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Duties include:

• Processing of accounts payable invoices.
• Sorting and matching invoices to purchase orders.
• Confirm proper accounts payable coding.
• Preparing and scheduling of approved payments.
• Processing weekly check runs.
• Research and resolve invoicing errors.
• Daily reconciliation of A/P accounts.
• Managing of vendor relationships, updating and maintaining vendor files.
• Creating and maintaining of A/P aging reports.
• Posting A/P accruals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidates for the Accounts Payable Specialist should have 3+ years of dedicated, full cycle A/P experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability work with minimal supervision.
