• Effectively balance cost and quality when ordering parts that meet the various needs of departments within the car dealership
• Recruit and manage team members within the auto parts department
• Record and track the movement and sales of auto parts within the dealership’s inventory control system
• Employ strong negotiation and communication skills to secure the most competitive price for replacement parts that can yield a profitable ROI when used for repairs or retail sales
• Maintain reasonable inventory levels for quick access by those completing auto repairs or selling auto parts by balancing projected demand and cost targets
• Answer customers' calls and emails and assist them in finding the right auto parts to meet their needs.
• Process customer orders and provide pricing information.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment, and exchanges/returns.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management.
• Add and track new prospects in the CRM system
• Regularly update the customer database with new customer information and purchases.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of related experience in auto sales needed
• Experience managing a staff is desired
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to effectively manage inventory using product knowledge, customer service skills, organizational strategies, and administrative tactics
• A passion for the automotive industry and being an enthusiast is a plus
