Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing client's marketing efforts to Promote awareness and engagement with product segments within applicable markets.

The position supports both sales, clinical and marketing departments and is tasked with ensuring consistent, high-quality communications and marketing efforts that reflect the reputation and brand of client. This role is highly detail-oriented, organized and able to complete tasks accurately and on deadline. Must possess excellent communication skills in all forms (email, text, social media, and verbal) and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Other responsibilities include product management/marketing, market analysis, literature review, supporting clinical study logistics, product evaluations and implementations, tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects working independently, with internal teams or external vendors.

Ultimately, this role helps us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels, tools and content

Essential Functions (ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES):

Product Marketing

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes in partnership with R&D
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Drive product launches including working with executives, and other marketing and sales team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Understand and support clinical study logistics and associated clinical education tools
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

Marketing Communications and Brand

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Experience with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis/Responsible for strategic social media campaigns and execution
  • Work with clinical and sales experts to produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Oversee production and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures, case studies, educational documents and tools
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

Sales Enablement

  • Management of all “top of the funnel” Sales related Leads – web leads, trade show leads, etc. Ability to utilize salesforce for dashboard management, metrics and reporting
  • Work within collaborative databases such as: Hubspot, Salesforce, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Responsible for internal newsletters and quarterly customer communications for sales and 1099 contract teams
  • Management of website updates and general maintenance, overall production for client educational content, management of webinar platform production and CE accredited activities
  • Coordination of marketing trade shows and booth as well as customer engagement at shows. Manage calendar and assist with opportunities for KOL engagement, in-booth education, CE options, customer surveys, gaming events and creative ideas to increase traffic.
  • Assist with KOL contracting and Study agreement administration activities, managing KOL events or advisory board activities
  • Management of sales rosters, territory maps and maintenance of accurate contact information
  • Vendor Management: Print and Collateral
  • Provide administrative support to clinical, sales, and marketing teams as needed

 

Qualifications:

Experience

  • Demonstrated success in marketing leadership with production of high-impact deliverables
  • Proven experience in market assessment and segmentation by brand, identifying target audiences, in leading marketing campaigns across channels that enhance customer engagement and build brand credibility and loyalty.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Strong skillset with social media campaigns and managing content posting and analytics, experience with AI and application to the marketing function.
  • Experience with launching and operating webinar platforms and maintaining website activity and engagement (e.g. On24, ZOOM, MS Teams.). Managing registration, lead generation and post-event follow-up campaigns.
  • Able to manage budget, spreadsheets and make recommendations based on optimal ROL.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with teams to create original, creative and engaging content as part of the client brand.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, content creation, branding and measurement.

 

Education

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare marketing creative project management role, 10 years is ideal
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Project management and/or digital platforms, AI or other technology certifications is a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel

  • Travel is approximately 25% of the time and may include the following activities:
  • Tradeshows for booth set-up/tear-down, staffing exhibit hours for customer interaction, managing KOL events or advisory board activities
  • Company meetings to include leadership, national sales meetings and/or department events
  • Hospital or similar patient care settings to support product demonstration and training. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet customer requirements.
