Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Provide proactive, strategic sales for a portfolio of 6 multi-branded hotels. Work closely with General Managers and Front Desk staff to foster a sales-focused culture, share best practices, and provide peer-to-peer coaching.
Revenue Growth: Drive ROI for hotel partners and meet revenue milestones within a 6-month sales cycle.
Market Expansion: Activate new accounts in the local market and increase market share with existing clients through intentional and strategic prospecting. Deliver bi-weekly sales strategy presentations via MS Teams to report on progress.
Pipeline Management: Utilize Salesforce CRM to develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline, effectively shortening the sales cycle.
Collaboration: Work with your assigned team (POD) to drive revenue and support the sales model across your hotel portfolio.
Client Experience: Create remarkable experiences for clients by managing expectations, maintaining a high level of satisfaction, and acting as a seamless extension of the hotel. Represent your clients with professionalism and integrity.
In-Market Visits: Travel occasionally to meet with Hotel Owners, General Managers, and their teams, strengthening client relationships and expanding sales targets.

Requirements
Hotel Industry Sales Experience:

3+ years of consecutive hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within select-service hotels.
2 years of experience in a dual or area hotel sales role is preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP processes, and brand tools.
Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate to convert prospecting efforts into revenue.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hotel clients and team members.
Solid understanding of general hotel operations.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience using a CRM system to manage sales pipelines and stay accountable for daily activities and follow-ups.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to manage your portfolio, create and analyze reports, and present progress updates.
Comfortable working remotely from your home office for extended periods.
