Hybrid Role

Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of medical records and legal documents related to malpractice cases.
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, trials, and hearings.
  • Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is current and organized.
  • Coordinating with medical experts, witnesses, and clients to gather necessary information.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive case information.
  • Providing administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification is required.
  • Education requirements include a relevant degree in paralegal studies or a related field.
  • Experience in medical malpractice law is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

Salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
