Part – Time Desktop Support Associate
Immediate Opportunity – Needed ASAP!
Contract to Hire in Downtown Houston
Pay to $27 hourly
15-20 hours weekly with some hybrid opportunities

Join our team as a Desktop Support Associate at an esteemed nonprofit arts organization.  Your role will involve providing hands-on desktop support and ensuring seamless IT operations to enhance the organization’s efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of proven experience in desktop support, demonstrating proficiency in computer troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of information systems and technologies, particularly in a Microsoft environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Capable of training staff at all levels on IT tasks to enhance productivity.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 suite, and Citrix software.
• Ability to provide analytics on IT usage within the organization.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in a nonprofit or arts organization would be advantageous.
• An Associate’s degree in IT or related field would be preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for approximately 15 -20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work remotely and onsite for 2-3 days a week.
• Attendance at weekly virtual IT team meetings to collaborate on projects and initiatives.
