**Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)** **About the job you're considering** We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient RDK Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of broadband gateway and set-top box solutions based on the Reference Design Kit (RDK). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in embedded systems, networking, Linux internals, and RDK-B/RDK-V stacks, with a strong background in C/C , system architecture, and broadband technologies. **Your role** + Architect and design scalable, modular, and high-performance RDK-based solutions for broadband gateways and video platforms. + Lead end-to-end integration of RDK-B components including device management, networking, Wi-Fi, and security modules. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, interfaces, and integration strategies. + Provide technical leadership in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of RDK components. + Drive innovation in areas such as device fingerprinting, DPI, parental controls, and secure communications. + Guide development teams in best practices for RDK customization, Yocto builds, and CI/CD pipelines. + Interface with OEMs, chipset vendors, and service providers to ensure successful deployment and support. **Your skills and experience** + Overall 10 years' experience with proficiency in C, C , Shell Scripting, Python and prior experience in architecting RDK-B or RDK-V solutions. + Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel, TCP/IP, NetFilters, IPSet, IPv4/IPv6, OVS, bridging, routing, MAP-T. + Experience with device driver development, GRE tunneling, DBUS/RBUS/UBUS. + Familiarity with MQTT, WebSocket, gRPC, OVSDB, XMIDT. + Deep understanding of IPTables, NFtables, IPSec/MACSec, DoS/DDoS mitigation. + Experience with DOCSIS, MTA, EPON, GPON, DSL. + Knowledge of OpenSync, Wi-Fi EasyMesh, IEEE 802.11 protocols. **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
