Job Description
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated, Michigan-certified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services across the district. This includes psychoeducational assessments, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, IEP participation, and direct support to students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Ideal for psychologists passionate about working in diverse school settings and supporting inclusive student growth.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct formal and informal assessments of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning
• Participate in eligibility determination, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with general and special education teams to design interventions
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding student behavior and learning
• Support RTI/MTSS frameworks and early intervention practices
• Document assessment findings and service delivery in compliance with MDE standards
Experience You’ll Need:
• Master’s degree in Educational or School Psychology
• Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Psychologist Approval
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with diverse populations is preferred
