DESCRIPTION
Our team leverages Amazon’s operational expertise to build applied AI solutions that businesses love and trust for their day-to-day success. Our ambition is to become a partner which companies can rely on to run their business every day, putting AI to work delivering better customer experiences, operational excellence and faster innovation. We're a 2 pizza team moving fast to build a new agentic product from the ground up. If you are scrappy and bias for action is your favorite LP, you will fit right in.
Our products are designed for business users and we obsess over ease of use, so you must have full-stack experience and be comfortable traversing across backend and front-end. We're prioritizing the following experience:
- 3+ years non-internship experience with architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
- programming with at least one of Java (Coral framework preferred), Python, or TypeScript
- handling non-deterministic AI/ML systems, including error handling, fallback strategies, and managing unpredictable outputs from LLMs
- Knowledge of personalization systems, recommendation engines, or dynamic content generation
- AWS service launch / production operational experience desired.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
