What You Will Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end performance testing efforts for complex applications and systems
- Design robust performance test strategies including load, stress, longevity, spike, and scalability testing
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner
- Analyze test results, generate detailed performance reports, build KPI dashboards and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in collaboration with Developer and DevOps teams
- Establish performance baselines and SLAs for critical applications
- Mentor and guide team members on performance testing practices and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team
- Automate performance testing pipelines and integrate with CI/CD workflows
- Stay current with emerging performance testing tools and trends
- Build/assist with KPI dashboard
- Mentor and guide other team memeber on performance testing practice and lead knowledge building efforts with in team
Requirements - 7+ years of experience in software performance testing
- Strong expertise in Locust, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of web technologies ( REST APIs, WebSockets)
- Proficient in Python or Java for scripting/custom logic, with a preference in Python
- Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic)
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture, caching, load balancing, and tuning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with solid verbal and written skills
