Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Scrum Master to support our FH/WP/SPA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, strong leadership and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive Agile practices within large-scale, enterprise digital transformation programs—particularly those focused on platform modernization. This role plays a key part in enabling Agile teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating core Scrum events such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering leads to ensure technical and business alignment on modernization efforts.
• Champion continuous improvement, guiding teams to enhance Agile performance, collaboration, and delivery consistency.
• Proactively identify and remove roadblocks that impact team progress, escalating as necessary to ensure resolution.
• Act as an Agile coach, supporting both teams and stakeholders in adopting Agile best practices and fostering a culture of agility and collaboration.
• Support enterprise-wide Agile initiatives and assist with scaling Agile methodologies where needed (e.g., SAFe).
• Ensure transparency in delivery status and team metrics using tools such as Jira , Confluence , or similar Agile tracking platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in discussions related to system architecture, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in guiding Agile teams through enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum , Kanban , and frameworks such as SAFe .
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and domains.
• Proven ability to coordinate and align multiple cross-functional teams toward common delivery goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience within the financial services industry .
• Prior experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) , with positive references.
• Familiarity with the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, including organizations such as Capital One , Charles Schwab , Vanguard , or Morgan Stanley .
• Hands-on involvement in major platform modernization or legacy-to-cloud migration initiatives.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
• Active certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) , SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) , or equivalent Agile credentials.
